Winning Powerball Double Play Ticket Sold At Somerset County ShopRite Store A Powerball Double Play ticket good for $50,000 was sold in Somerset County. The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets.  One ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Double Play ball drawn winning the $50,000 double play prize.  That ticket was purchased from the ShopRite on South Davenport Street in Somerville. The Double Play drawing results for the Monday, Sept. 25, drawing were: 05, 16, 18, 38 and 40. The Double Play Ball number was 19.

Retired Police Officer Helps Nab Bridgewater Bank Robber: Prosecutor A Bridgewater man was arrested last week after authorities said he tried to rob one bank and then hit a second bank just a few hours later.  Douglas Conroy, 60, entered Provident bank on Union Avenue in Bridgewater shortly before noon Dec. 23, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office said. Conroy approached a teller and demanded she fill a plastic bag with cash, according to the prosecutor's office.
