An 18-year-old student was stabbed by a younger classmate Monday morning in Hackensack High School, authorities confirmed. The injured student was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening after being treated by school personnel around 8:15 a.m. Feb. 5, said Capt. Plainfield High School Student Stabbed: School Officials
A Plainfield High School student was stabbed at a local park on Tuesday, Sept. 27, school officials said. The stabbing occurred following an altercation and the injured student was transported to a nearby hospital. School officials said Plainfield Police are investigating the incident and are offering support and counseling services to students. Newark Student Slashed At School: Police
A 12-year-old boy was slashed in the cheek at a Newark elementary school on Tuesday, April 4, according to police. The boy was slashed following an altercation with another child at Roberto Clemente Elementary School at 257 Summer Ave, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The injured boy was transported to University Hospital and is in stable condition, Fragé said. The incident remains under investigation, Fragé said.
