Police ID Roselle Scooter Operator Killed By Car In Linden A man on an electric scooter died after he became trapped underneath a vehicle that struck him in Union County on Wednesday, March 20, police said. Lamar McBride, 46, was heading south in the northbound lanes of N. Wood Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle turning onto E. Gibbons Street in Linden around 2:30 p.m, Linden police said. McBride became trapped under the vehicle, which was lifted by the city's firefighters.
