Nine Arrested In 'Drive Sober' Campaign: Bayonne PD Nine people have been arrested in Bayonne for DWI in December, as police aim to step up enforcement of drinking and driving. Robert Geisler, the chief of police, said six people have been arrested since officers started targeted patrols and charged with driving while intoxicated, while nine people have been arrested since the beginning of the month, Geisler said. Through a grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the city launched a campaign reminding drivers to "drive sober or get pulled over." That's what the black owner of a beloved Bayonne bookshop had to say following the latest incident of racial bias at her shop -- The Little BOHO Bookstore on Broadway -- in which a 59-year-old Hoboken man was arrested.
