Woman Strikes Telephone Pole, Killed In Route 35 Crash In Woodbridge: Police A 67-year-old woman was killed after she suffered a medical emergency and ran into a telephone pole in the Colonie section of Woodbridge, authorities said. Barbara Czyzewska, of Aberdeen, was southbound on Route 35 (St. George's Avenue) at about 10:40 a.m. Friday, March 22 when she lost control of her Subaru, Woodbridge police said. She was taken to Rahway Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said. There were no passengers in the Subaru.

1 Dead, 1 Injured In Luxury Car Crash On Garden State Parkway One person died and another was hospitalized with serious injuries in a crash on the Garden State Parkway early Monday morning. A Range Rover and Lexus crashed in the southbound lanes near milepost 136.3 in Clark around 2:40 a.m., New Jersey Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele said. The driver of the Range Rover was taken to University Hospital in serious condition and the driver of the Lexus was pronounced dead at Rahway Hospital.  The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
