Three Shot, One Dead In Elizabeth: Prosecutors Three people were shot, one fatally, in Elizabeth on Monday, June 26, authorities said. At 8:30 p.m., Elizabeth police officers responded to the 600 block of Salem Avenue after receiving reports of multiple shot, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said. Upon arrival, police found three gunshot victims inside a vehicle, Gurley Edouard a 28-year-old Roselle resident, a 23-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl, prosecutors said. Arrest Made In Stabbing Death Of 21-Year-Old Elizabeth Man An arrest has been made in last Sunday's stabbing death of Yonatan Alexander Vasquez-Torres. Alexis Mondesi, 48, is accused of stabbing Vaxquez-Torres dead on the 300 block of Center Street just before 3 a.m. on Oct. 10, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel, Elizabeth Police Director Earl Graves and Elizabeth Police Chief Giacomo Sacca said. City resident Yonatan Alexander Vasquez-Torres was found with stab wounds around 3 a.m. on the 300 block of Center Street, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel said.
