Jersey City Burglar Found Sleeping On Hoboken Stairwell, Police Say A 53-year-old Jersey City man was arrested for burglarizing Hoboken businesses, authorities said. Richard Maldonado was charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief, defiant trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia, Hoboken Police Det. Lt. Danilo Cabrera said. The first call came in around 2:10 p.m. June 11 at a business near 2nd and Monroe Street, police said. Police: Paterson Man Charged With Attempted Murder For Trying To Kill Hoboken Amazon Worker A 27-year-old Paterson man has been charged with attempted murder after trying to kill an Amazon worker at the company's Hoboken warehouse last fall, authorities said. Corey Ferguson shot the 32-year-old Newark victim multiple times in the upper body and in one of his legs at the Amazon warehouse on Monroe Street, around 2:30 a.m. Oct. 11, 2020, Hoboken Police Det. The suspect was seen pulling over near 9th Street between Madison and Monroe in a four door dark colored sedan around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Det. Lt. Danilo Cabrera said.
