Saddle River police were called to the $2.7 million home on Fox Hedge Road off East Allendale Road at 4:26 p.m. Monday, July 31. A 71-year-old Rockland bicyclist was hospitalized after a nasty fall at the state border in Old Tappan, authorities said. The victim "hit an uneven patch of pavement in the roadway" near the corner of Old Tappan and Semino Road and fell off her bicycle" around 9 a.m. Tuesday, Police Lt. Robert W. Wacht said. Morning Rush: Hackensack Crash Sends Two To Hospital
A two-vehicle morning rush-hour collision at a busy Hackensack intersection sent two people to the hospital, responders said. Both were taken to nearby Hackensack University Medical Center following the crash outside the Prospect Ridge Apartments at Prospect and Central avenues shortly after 6:30 a.m. Friday, April 22. The extent of their injuries couldn't be immediately determined. City firefighters, police and an HUMC ambulance responded. Police were investigating the cause.

A 17-year-old Elmwood Park driver was behind the wheel when a sedan bounced off the divider and slammed into a retaining wall Saturday night on rain-slicked Route 17 in Waldwick, critically injuring a 20-year-old passenger, authorities said.
