Hudson County Health Official Admits Taking Bribes An official with the Hudson County Office of Aging Tuesday pleaded guilty to extortion in a scheme to funnel work to a firm that provides home health aides for the elderly and disabled, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.  Myrtha Nicholas, a 61-year-old Jersey City resident, entered into an arrangement with a home health care company in June 2016 in which an executive with the company would pay Nicholas $500 for each client referred to the company.
