Murphy, who lives in Scotch Plains and runs Bakehouse by Joe Murphy in New Providence, will be appearing on "Beat Bobby Flay" on the Food Network at 9 p.m. On "Beat Bobby Flay" two contestants face off, cooking a dish for 20 minutes using a secret ingredient chosen by Flay. Two judges then decide which chef has the chance to beat Flay, and the winner gets their shot to challenge Flay with their signature dish.
