Lifelong Hunterdon County Resident Dies Suddenly, 28 Lifelong Hunterdon County resident Sarah E. Henschel died suddenly on Wednesday, June 8 at the age of 28. Born in Flemington, Sarah grew up in Whitehouse Station and graduated from Hunterdon Central High School, her obituary says. Sarah then went on to graduate from Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg before attending Philadelphia University, now known as Thomas Jefferson College, according to her memorial. NJ Salutatorian, Aspiring Doctor Dies During Hiking Trip, 18 New Jersey high school salutatorian and aspiring doctor at Cornell University Benjamin Paul Daus died Sunday, Jan. 23 after falling during a waterfall hike in Kauai, Hawaii. He was 18. Described as a “miracle child,” Daus earned the title of Salutatorian for the class of 2021 at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, his obituary says.  Daus was a freshman at Cornell University, where he was studying to become a doctor.
