Roselle Park Crossing Guards, Police Officer Assaulted By Elizabeth Boy: Authorities A 17-year-old Elizabeth boy was arrested for assaulting a pair of Roselle Park crossing guards and a police officer, authorities said. One guard was found with a gash on his head and a second reported being pushed to the ground from behind on Chestnut Street around 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 17, Borough Police Chief Daniel J. McAffery said. Photo Of 'Person Of Interest' In Roselle Park Harassment Incident Released Roselle Park police continue to look for an assailant who verbally harassed a woman Wednesday night and then slapped her buttocks before peddling away on his bicycle.  Police Friday released a picture (attached) of a person of interest. The incident occurred near East Westfield Avenue and Chestnut Street.  Anyone with information is asked to call 908-245-2300 or 2306.

Youth On Bike Harassed, Slapped Woman In Roselle Park: Police Police in Roselle Park are investigating after a woman said a young person on a bicycle kept making rude comments to her and then hit the woman on the buttocks before pedaling away.  The woman was walking in the area of East Westfield Avenue and Chestnut Street around 5 p.m. Tuesday when the male, who appeared to be about 16 to 18 years old, began making inappropriate remarks, police said.  When he refused to leave her alone, she called police.
