PA Motorcyclist, 38, Killed In Route 1 Crash Identified By South Brunswick Police
Police in Central Jersey have identified the 38-year-old Pennsylvania motorcyclist killed in a Route 1 crash earlier this week. Lawrence Green of Marcus Hook, PA, was operating a Honda motorcycle near Major Road during the 7:40 a.m. crash on Tuesday, April 23, according to South Brunswick police. Green was driving on the shoulder of Route 1 northbound when he was struck by a Chevy Malibu attempting to merge onto the Major Road off-ramp, police said. NJ Infant Killed By Family Dog: Prosecutor
An infant is dead after being mauled by the family dog in Central Jersey, authorities said. Police were called to a Mereline Avenue home in Avenel around 6:15 a.m. Saturday, March 9, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Woodbridge Police Department Director Robert Hubner said. Officers found the mother and baby, who sustained serious injuries from the dog. The baby was pronounced dead on scene while the mother and father were transported to the hospital for treatment. A 46-year-old dump truck driver from Passaic County was killed in a head-on collision with another dump truck in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at 9:42 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22. on Port Reading Avenue near Lee Street, Woodbridge police said. The dump trucks were traveling in opposite directions, police said. Police ID Pedestrian, 32, Killed By Car In Central Jersey
A 32-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Central Jersey. Matthew H. Brunner, of East Brunswick, was struck by the vehicle at the intersection of Cranbury Road and Henly Drive around 8:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, East Brunswick police said. Brunner was critically injured and later pronounced dead. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were uninjured and remained at the scene of the crash.
