Suspect In Violent Newark Gas Station Robbery Arrested
A man who police say beat up a worker at a Newark gas station while demanding cash was arrested the following day. Brian F. Wright, a 31-year-old East Orange resident, entered the station on McCarter Highway around 1:30 a.m Tuesday. The shirtless Wright demanded a specific amount in cash and repeatedly punched the station employee until another worker gave Wright the cash he asked for, police said.
