Tahref L. Folkes, 33, tried to duck them but was chased down shortly before noon Wednesday, police said. They also recovered a handgun that they said he stashed in a local store during the foot pursuit. Armed Convict Arrested On Bicycle: Lawrence Police Lawrence Township Police Officer Piotr Bystrek was on routine patrol on Friday, May 31 at about 2:35 a.m. in the 2100 block of Princeton Pike in Lawrenceville when he observed two males on bicycles commit a traffic violation. Bystrek made contact with the Princeton males who were positively identified as Jaylin Derry-Poole, 20, and Alfred Jornegay, 31, Lawrence Township police said. Bergen County Fugitive Nabbed In Upstate NY For Second Time This Year An ex-con was brought to New Jersey this week after police in upstate New York nabbed him on a warrant out of Bergen County for the second time in less than a year, records show. Officers responding to a suspicious-persons complaint in the Ulster County town of Saugerties in late August said they found local resident Christopher P. Rega, 31, staggering down a street in the middle of the afternoon. A quick check turned up some drugs in his backpack, Saugerties police said in a release. Police responding to the 100 block of Ivy Street on reports of an injured person found a man knocked unconscious during an argument with a man later identified as Victor Perez on Monday, Sept. 7 around 1:20 a.m.,  Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F.
