US Coast Guard Rescues 7 Fisherman From Boat Off Jersey Shore (

Seven fishermen were rescued by members of the U.S. Coast Guard as bad weather moved into the Jersey Shore Sunday afternoon. Crew members of the 40-foot sport fishing boat activated their Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) from approximately 69 miles off the coast of Cape May around 1:20 p.m., the Coast Guard said in a statement. A small craft advisory for the area indicated 4-to-6-foot seas with winds gusting up to 30 knots.
