Body Found Near Holland Tunnel A dead woman was found about a mile from the Holland Tunnel on the evening of Wednesday, July 19, authorities said. At 6:52 p.m., Jersey City police saw the body at 18th Street and Jersey Avenue, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. The woman was determined to be dead at the scene and the medical examiner's office responded, Wallace-Scalfione said. The death does not appear to be suspicious, Wallace-Scalfione said.
