Police ID Dump Truck Driver Killed In Fiery Route 78 Crash

State Police have released the identity of the dump truck driver killed in a fiery crash with a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck on Tuesday afternoon, March 28.

Kevin A. Cougle, 54, of Rockaway, was killed in the crash, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan confirmed Wednesday, March 29.

The three vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes near Exit 49B in Springfield Township just before 12:30 p.m., Daily Voice previously reported.
