NJ Daycare Worker Charged In Baby Assault
A 38-year-old daycare teacher in Morris County was recently charged with assaulting a 16-month old baby in March, authorities said. Christina Susco, a Budd Lake resident and teacher at Mount Olive Child Care and Learning Center assaulted the baby on Monday, March 25, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said. Susco was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated assault, Carroll said alongside Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Mount Olive Township Police Chief Michael Spitzer. Catalytic Converter Thefts On The Rise In Morris County, Police Say
Police have issued an alert regarding the increasing number of catalytic converter thefts being reported in the area throughout the last several weeks. The theft increase “reflects a national and statewide trend,” according to Mount Olive Township Police. Catalytic converters are often targeted due to their high potential resale values and precious metals including platinum, palladium, and rhodium, police said.
