Police have identified the gunman accused of killing three people in a New Jersey home Monday, Nov. 27. Om Brahmbhatt, 23, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Dilipkumar Brahmbhatt, 72, Yashkumar Brahmbhatt, 38, and Bindu Brahmbhatt, 72, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. Ciccone and South Plainfield Police Chief Peter Papa said only that the 23-year-old Brahmbhatt lived with and was related to the three people he killed at the Traditions condo complex on Coppola Drive. NJ Morgue Driver Pick Pocketed Bodies: Authorities
A Middlesex County man who drives bodies to the morgue stole credit cards that he found on them, authorities said. Kevin Thomas, Jr., 43, of Sayreville, who works as a driver at an unidentified company, used the stolen credit cards to buy plane tickets, groceries, movie tickets and other items from businesses throughout Middlesex County, the said. Fanwood Resident, 65, Threatened Train Conductor With Scissors: Police
A Fanwood man has been charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and weapons offenses for allegedly threatening a train conductor with a pair of scissors Friday, NJ Transit said. Prudencio Cruz, 65, allegedly threatened the conductor of a North Jersey Coast Line train as it was pulling into Perth Amboy. Cruz fled when the train stopped. The conductor was unhurt. Bloomfield Man Carjacks Lyft Driver, Stabs Passenger In Clark: Police
A 27-year-old Bloomfield man was arrested Wednesday after he attacked a Lyft driver and a fellow passenger as the vehicle traveled through Clark early Wednesday morning, Chief of Police Pedro M. Matos said. Patrolling officers found a 47-year-old man lying on Westfield Avenue around 1 a.m. who had been stabbed in the head, face and neck.
