Mechanical Failures Foil First Race For Bergen County's Frankie Muniz Since Landing NASCAR Ride Frankie Muniz's first race since landing a full-time job in NASCAR got two thumbs down. The child star and Bergen County native-turned-racing enthusiast finished 33rd over the weekend in his first Truck Series race since announcing he was becoming a full-time racer.  Muniz, 38, who hails from Wood-Ridge and starred in "Malcolm in the Middle," parlayed his Hollywood fame into a temporary spot in the series before announcing recently that he was to take over the number 33 Ford for Reaume Brothers Racing in 2025.
