A Chevy Tahoe slammed into the light pole in the collision with a Dodge Durango at the corner of Erie and Franklin avenues around 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8. The Midland Park Ambulance Corps took the female driver of the Toyota to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening. Multi-Vehicle Collision At Troublesome Midland Park Intersection Sends Two To Hospital Three vehicles collided Wednesday morning at a troublesome intersection in Midland Park, sending two occupants to the hospital, after one ran a stop sign, authorities said. Midland Park police, firefighters and EMS responded to the crash at Franklin and Erie avenues near the Ridgewood border. None of the injuries were considered life-threatening, Police Chief Michael Powderley said. Two summonses were issued, he said. Tow trucks removed two vehicles. Borough officials have been wrestling with how to make the intersection safer, recently holding a public discussion on the subject.  …

Three-Vehicle Collision Sends Car Crashing Into Midland Park Home MIDLAND PARK, N.J. -- A three-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon sent a sedan crashing into a Midland Park house. Damage to the single-family home at the corner of Franklin and Vreeland avenues initially appeared minimal. Midland Park EMS personnel tended to at least two of the drivers. All three vehicles were towed. Responders included Midland Park police, firefighters and EMS units. Ridgewood police helped direct traffic. Boyd A. Loving contributed to this article.
