The key fob apparently had been left in the 2016 X6 BMW, which was stolen from a Swan Road home around 4 a.m. – apparently by an organized group responsible for the theft of high-end vehicles in the area, Police Chief James N. Mahwah PD: Night Watchwoman Swipes $17,000 From Employer, Buys New Car They call them “loss prevention officers,” but an overnight security guard hired by a Mahwah business was caught on surveillance video stealing $17,000 in cash that she used to buy a car, authorities charged.
