Tractor-trailer rips down tree limb in Teaneck

ONLY ON CVP: A tractor-trailer hooked a low-lying tree limb after the trucker had to suddenly pull to the side of Teaneck Road to avoid a U-turning vehicle directly in front of him.

The incident snarled both north- and south-bound traffic on Teaneck Road at about 3 p.m. this afternoon.

Meanwhile, it became a matter of waiting for someone with a chainsaw for trucker Nick Stammer, who lives in Union City, Ohio, a small town on the Indiana state line about 700 miles west of Teaneck.
