Corey Washington, 32, was being held on $75,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with illegal weapon and drug offenses — including possession of marijuana and MDMA with the intent to distribute both.

Police executed a search warrant at his Beaumont Avenue home following a five-week investigation, Carney said.

Besides the pot and 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun — reported stolen during a Paramus burglary last Nov. 26 — they found a digital scale and packaging materials, the chief said.

Washington was scheduled for a first Municipal Court apperarance this coming Monday.
