Officer Lionel Gonzalez stopped a 2012 Jeep Cherokee just after 8:30 a.m. and found the violations by Annikea Bernard, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo said.

Altogether, Gonzalez passed through E-ZPass lanes without paying 106 times, Pentangelo said.

The unpaid $1,545 in tolls added $5,300 in fines and fees to her total, he said.

Bernard was arrested and processed on charges of theft of services, toll evasion and failure to observe signs and released.

Records show Bernard was arrested in 2004 in Englewood on charges of threatening to kill and threatening two police officers while resisting arrest. The disposition of that case couldn't immediately be determined.
