Prosecutor: Teaneck man busted selling Oxy at Paramus mall

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Teaneck man who sold Oxycodone to an undercover narcotics detective at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus last month was arrested yesterday when he returned to make another sale, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this aftenoon.

Soloman Newman, 21, also known as “Ace” and “Bundles,” was released without bail pending a court appearance today.

Molinelli said Newman, a self-employed part-time auto detailer, sold 16 pills to the detective for $250 last month, then returned yesterday to make a similar deal when he was taken into custody by members of the prosecutor’s Narcotic Task Force.

He was carrying 20 Oxycodone pills, Molinelli said.

Newman is charged with drug distribution and possession with intent to distribute the drug.
