Port Authority Police officers Tom Kimble and Michael Birnstill were on patrol in the midtown terminal yesterday morning when they saw the assault.

The victim told them that Riley came up, knocked him down “for no apparent reason” and began kicking him with her work boots, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo told CLIFFVIEW PIlOT.

The officers who arrested teh 5-foot-6, 115-pound Riley found her carrying a used crack pipe, Pentangelo said.

EMS workers treated the victim at the scene.

Riley, who has an extensive violent criminal history, was jailed on two counts of assault and drug possession, Pentangelo said.
