Double shooting deaths in Teaneck

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Two men found dead inside an SUV on a Teaneck street were shot several times each Wednesday night, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Bodies found on this block (Oakdene Avenue, just off Queen Anne Road)

The vehicle, with New York license plates, still had its engine running on Oakdene Avenue near Queen Anne Road, when police got a call at 7 a.m., he said.

The driver of the Ford Explorer has been tentatively identified as Jonathan Beneduce, 28, of Howard Beach, Queens. Beneduce is single, unemployed and resides with his parents.

At this time the motive for the murders is under investigation by the Teaneck Police Department and the Major Crimes Unit of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

The passenger has been tentatively identified as Michael Mirasola, DOB 27, of Ozone Park Queens. Mirasola was also single, resided with his parents and was unemployed.

Autopsies will be completed tomorrow.
