Jersey City police pulled a body from the Hudson River near the Second Street pier this morning. Chances are good he lived or worked in Manhattan, Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio said.
The white, middle-aged man with shoulder-length hair was carrying a New York City Public Library card — but no other identification.
The body of had been in the water at least a day and bears no outward signs of foul play, DeFazio said.
He was wearing a red T-shirt with the word “Peru” and a silhouette of a llama on the front, the prosecutor said.
