The session — sponsored by the Teaneck Chamber of Commerce from 7-9 p.m. at the Richard Rodda Community Center on Colonial Court — was scheduled by Mayor Lizette Parker, Deputy Mayor Elie Y. Katz and Councilman Mohammed Hameeduddin amid ongoing threats to houses of worship nationwide.
Topics will include:
• Planning, developing, organizing and implementing safety & security programs;
• Developing and maintaining cooperative relationships with local public safety officials;
• Training in modern safety & security techniques;
• Inspection of buildings, homes and grounds to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
Other speakers will include Teaneck Fire Chief Anthony Verley, Teaneck Police Chaplain Rabbi Abe Friedman and William Stallone — a risk mitigation planner and critical infrastructure coordinator from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
