TEANECK, N.J. – Donald M. Gaffney, a resident of Teaneck and formerly of New York City, died Tuesday, July 12. He was 74.
He was a proud alumni member of Iona College, Class of '63. Before retiring, he was a communication executive for the Depository Trust Company in New York City. He was an avid traveler and his life were his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Johanna Gaffney; children, Johanna and husband Keith Degelmann, Donald and wife Janet Gaffney, Beth and husband Tom Muliero and Sean Gaffney; grandchildren, Amanda, Chris, Caitlin, Kayla, Erik, Erin, Ryan, Gianna and Jillian; and his Godchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.
Family and friends can visit from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck. The funeral service will begin at 9 a.m. at the funeral home and then to St. Anastasia’s RCC, 1095 Teaneck Road, Teaneck for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
