TEANECK, N.J. – David Max Gomes, of Teaneck, died Saturday, Feb. 20. He was 68.
He was a devoted parishioner of St. Anastasia Roman Catholic Church in Teaneck.
He was the husband for 47 years to Carol Gomes; father of Penny, Bernard, Karen, Troy, Maggie, Andrea and Celina; grandfather (papa) of Christopher II, Maddie, Matthew, Azariah, Adam, Jason, Ariel, Emma, Mikella, Andrew, Lloyd, Joshua, Max and Toni; father-in-law of Chris, Joey, Anzalena and Donna; sibling to 10 brothers and sisters; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 5-9 p.m. Friday at Volk Leber Funeral Home in Teaneck. A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anastasia Roman Catholic Church in Teaneck, followed by entombment at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus.
