TEANECK, N.J.(ARRANGEMENTS) -- Tributes continued to mount Monday for a popular labor and delivery from nurse who was killed in a Thanksgiving Day car crash barely a block from her Teaneck home.
Belinda Mercado Loughlin, who was an RN at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck and at HUMC at Pascack Valley in Westwood, was "amazing individual with a compassion" for people, wrote cousin Dennis Sanabria.
"I pray the healing of love from family and friends will help lessen the pain many are so feeling at this time of great sadness," Sanabria added to a wall full of photos of a smiling, joking, loving Loughlin, 45.
A funeral service was scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Volk-Leber Funeral Home in Teaneck -- across from the hospital where she worked -- followed by interment in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus.
Visiting hours at Volk-Leber were scheduled from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m Tuesday.
