Members Sought For Teaneck Youth Advisory Board

The Teaneck Township Council is accepting applications from self-starting youths and motivated adults who live in Teaneck.

Interested youths can be in grades 8-12, who are either in public or private school, and who wish to make a difference in their community. 

 The role of youth members who serve on Teaneck’s Youth Advisory Board is to make suggestions to the Teaneck Township Council with respect to the policies that impact the community’s youth. The role of adult advisors who serve is to guide and direct the Board’s youth members in making recommendations to the Teaneck Township Council. 

Those interested in applying for a position on Teaneck’s Youth Advisory Board may obtain an Advisory Board Application from the Township website or by contacting the Township Clerk’s Office at (201)837-1600, ext. 1025.
