Teaneck Creek Conservancy Schedules New Programs

TEANECK, N.J. -- The Teaneck Creek Conservancy has scheduled some new programs for March and beyond.

Holy Name Medical Center will present a public class on "The Power of Sleep" at the Conservancy from 7-8 p.m. March 10. Register for the free class by calling 201-833-3336. 

Water ROCKS, an art program for children and adults focusing on the vital resource will take place from 1-3 p.m. March 19. Call 201-836-2403 to register. The program is free, but space is limited. 

The annual SpringFest will return from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 15. SpringFest will focus on water and wellness and promote healthy habitats and habits through presentations, vendors, tours, talks, musical performances and kid-friendly activities and crafts. Te event is free.

Land of the Lenape Day will feature a historical walk through the grand reopening of Lenape Turtle Peace Labyrinth and art work by Ramapough Lenape Artists at 11 a.m. June 5. The event is free.
