Professor Lays Out Science Of Climate Change At Teaneck Forum

TEANECK, N.J. -- The fall season opens at the Puffin Educational Forum in Teaneck with a series of presentations about climate change.

Professor Philip Penner will speak at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 20, Tuesday, Sept. 27 and Wednesday, Oct. 5. A light lunch will be included.

Penner is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Science at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, The City University of New York. He will give a multimedia presentation of the science behind climate change and global warming. 

  • Sept. 20: Intro to Climate Change and Greenhouse Gases 
  • Sept. 27: Carbon Dioxide, Extinction, and Warming at the Poles 
  • Oct. 5: Alternative Energy Sources and Possible Solutions 

Cost is $10 per session.
