Meet Artists At Teaneck Library Reception

TEANECK, N.J. -- The public is welcome at a reception Friday, July 8 of local artists whose work is being exhibited at the Teaneck Public Library.

The exhibit features art by members of the Rodda Center Seniors' Oil Painting & Ceramics class.

The Oil Painting Art show and Ceramics Hand Building Art Exhibition will run until the end of July at the library.

The reception runs from 1 to 3 p.m. at the library, 840 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, N.J.

Art subjects range from still life to portraits, and landscapes. The artists are Barbara Brandon, Diane Fogel, Nancy Leroy, Karen Lowenstein, Janet Nelson, Rhoda Ferat, Tony Ribustelo, Ester Schwartz, Zita Pruitt, and Elsa Venticinque.

The oil painting class is taught by Tina Stonefield- Ishihara who trained at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and in Japan.

The Ceramics Hand Building Class is taught by Bea Bloom. After learning her degree in literature, Bloom turned to ceramics, earning her degree at Fullerton College in California.
