TEANECK, N.J. -- The Bergen County Audubon Society is offering three events in the next eight days.

Winter Birds: 9 a.m. Saturday. Come look for winter ducks, waterfowl and sparrows in Sandy Hook and the "North" North Shore. Meet at the first parking lot upon entering Sandy Hook (Bayberry-B lot); dress warmly. Great Backyard Bird Count: 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the Teaneck Creek Conservancy. Join in a morning of citizen science as the group walks the creek and counts birds for the 19th annual Great Backyard Bird Count. Meet at the parking lot on Puffin Way.
