New Teaneck Breast Center Celebrates Grand Opening

TEANECK, N.J. — The New Breast Center at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck celebrates its grand opening next week.

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace as well as the center’s board of trustees and administration will hold a Sept. 29 reception.

Dr. Joshua D. Gross, a board-certified radiologist with more than 30 years of experience in breast imaging and biopsy procedures, is medical director.

The new breast center offers the latest generation in screening and diagnostic technology, according to Holy Name.

It also boats “a warm, beautiful space focused on personalized patient care, safety and privacy,” according to the center’s web page, and “an experienced and sensitive team of breast imaging radiologists and specialized technicians.”

The New Breast Center at Holy Name offers digital and 3D (tomosynthesis) mammography, CAD (computer-aided detection), and breast MRI for disease staging and patients with a breast cancer history or genetic predisposition.

It performs screening and diagnostic mammos and ultrasounds; stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies; lesion localization performed on site; ductograms; cyst aspirations; bone densitometry; and genetic counseling and testing.

The Breast Center at Holy Name is located at 718 Teaneck Road.
