NJ Native Dies After Pennsylvania Crash, Coroner Says One driver died from his injuries after a crash in Palmer Township on Tuesday evening, Jan. 30, officials say.  Joseph R. Hoagland, 68, suffered a medical emergency that led to a wreck in the parking lot of the William Penn Highway Weis, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office.  Hoagland, of Wilson Borough, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital - Anderson Campus where he passed from blunt force chest injuries on Wednesday, Jan. 31, authorities said. Born in Wilson Borough, VanHorn attended Liberty High School, where she sang in chorus and graduated in 2011, her obituary says. VanHorn loved nurturing and spending time with animals. She was also known for attending car shows. VanHorn worked with BrightStar Care as a home healthcare aid and lived in Easton at the time of her death, her memorial says. PA Man Distraught By Coronavirus Shoots Woman, Kills Himself A Pennsylvania man who recently lost his job and was becoming increasingly upset by the coronavirus crisis shot his girlfriend in the back as she fled -- then he killed himself, reports say.
