Clarence fought in the Korean War within a segregated US Army unit and later became among the first black employees in his home country’s park system. East Amwell natives Paige Dellavalle and Ashley Dellavalle Jung got a $150,000 cash infusion in exchange for a 35 percent share of the business in 2013. The sisters both attended West Point with a major in management and minor in systems engineering.  Although Jung was deployed in Afghanistan between March 2007 and 2008, a sudden shoulder injury kept Dellavelle from serving in a combat zone.
