Hardyston and Franklin fire departments responded to the scene at 1 Park Drive just before 2:45 a.m. and observed smoke billowing from the back of the building, authorities said. The blaze was reported at 3409 Rt. 94 in Hardyston Township just after 4 p.m. Saturday, the township volunteer fire department said on Facebook. Crew members placed hand lines in operation after ensuring that all occupants had safely exited the home, authorities said. The fire was placed under control about an hour later, and no injuries were reported, authorities said. Authorities: Man Who Kicked Hamburg Officer In Groin Once Assaulted State Trooper A man recently arrested for drunkenly assaulting three Hamburg police officers was once taken into custody for slamming a car door on a state trooper, said authorities who charged him. Hamburg police responded to a dispute between the 52-year-old man and an unidentified woman at 100 Quarry Road Sunday evening, police said in a release. Upon arrival,  Kurt M.
