A 37-year-old Dover man was found guilty on Friday, Feb. 2 of kidnapping and sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend in Sept. 2021, authorities said. On Sept. 5, 2021, Jessie Meneses sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend in his vehicle in Randolph, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert M. It was a Friday to remember for a lottery player in Bergen County. A ticket sold in Emerson matched five of the five white balls in the Mega Millions drawing on Friday, Jan. 19, winning $1 million. Driver Jailed In Fatal New Year's Crash On I-280 Shoulder
A New Jersey driver was arrested in a fatal crash on Route 280 New Year's Eve, authorities said. Valerian Kapanadze was charged with child endangerment, evidence tampering, and vehicular homicide in the Roseland crash that killed 56-year-old Luis Nicheporuck, of Randolph on Sunday, Dec. 31, New Jersey State Police said. Yet another December rain storm has come and gone, leaving many New Jersey towns under water. According to the National Weather Service's Philadelphia/Mount Holly office, between one and three inches of rain fell across the area, ending early Thursday, Dec. 28. The town that got the most amount of rain is Washington Township (Warren County), with 3.38 inches, the weather service said. ID Released For Morris County Motorcyclist Killed In Labor Day Crash
Authorities have released the identity of the 51-year-old motorcyclist killed in a Warren County crash on Labor Day. Ronald L. Smith, 51, of Randolph, was riding an Aprilia motorcycle near 53 Bald Eagle Rd. in Allamuchy when it veered off the right side of the road and overturned around 10:30 p.m., NJSP Det. Jeffrey Lebron told Daily Voice. Smith was killed in the crash, which remains under investigation, Lebron said.
