Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect For Much Of Region With a round of storms moving from west to east in interior portions of the region, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for much of the area The watch is in effect until 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 across DC, MD, NJ, PA, and VA. Potentially dangerous straight-line wind gusts are the primary threat, with potentially damaging hail also possible, according to the National Weather Service. Localized heavy rainfall and lightning are also possible. Randazza failed to appear in court, resulting in the issuing of a bench warrant for his arrest with extradition from NJ, NY, PA and DE, according to the Prosecutor’s Office. Sears Closing Willowbrook Mall Store Sears will be closing its Willowbrook Mall location, officials from the Wayne facility confirmed. The retailer filed for bankruptcy last year and shuttered more than 100 stores in the U.S. A post on TheLayoff.Com from a current, anonymous employee said that the Willowbrook Mall store will be closing in September.
