𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A 70-year-old Rochelle Park man was the driver who sped off after hitting and severely injuring a motorcyclist on Route 4 earlier this month, Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti announced following the motorist's arrest on Thursday. The 2004 Honda was struck by a 2020 Ford Fusion exiting Arcadia Way on the eastbound highway shortly after 1:30 p.m. April 16, the chief said. The sedan's driver then fled the scene, he said. Teen Motorcyclist Killed, Passenger Injured In Route 46 Crash
A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed and his 19-year-old passenger injured in a crash on Route 46 in Totowa. The 2008 Yamaha R6 sports bike rammed the rear passenger side of a 2014 Acura MDX near the Union Boulevard exit off the eastbound highway around 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, authorities said. Three people including a motorcyclist were rescued after falling through a Morris County lake Sunday. Police were called to Lake Musconetcong just before 5 p.m., where James Best had fallen through the ice. Serious Motorcycle Crash Closes Parisppany Road In Hanover
A motorcyclist rider was seriously injured in a Parsippany Road crash in Hanover Wednesday, police said. Unconfirmed reports say the motorcycle slid under another vehicle near 239 Parsippany Road in Whippany. The area was closed for investigation as of 2:50 p.m. Hanover Capt. A motorcycle accident closed a portion of Route 206 in Frankford Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 11:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes near mile marker 120, initial reports say. Teen Airlifted With Serious Injuries In Warren County Dirt Bike Accident, State Police Say
A teen was airlifted to a local hospital after a dirt bike accident in Warren County Friday, authorities said. A 16-year-old male was ejected from his dirt bike after it ran off Centerville Road and overturned just before 4:30 p.m. in Knowlton Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. The teen was flown to Morristown Medical Center with serious injuries, Marchan said. No further information was available as of 9 p.m.

A communication systems technician for New Jersey State Police died after being ejected from his motorcycle in a Budd Lake crash, local police said. John Zaki of Landing was headed eastbound on Route 46 when he was struck by a 2002 Toyota near Chamberlain Road on Sept. 29 around 2 p.m., Mount Olive police said. Responding officers found Zaki's motorcycle under the Toyota driven by Brielle Kraus, who was turning left onto the roadway from a driveway, authorities said. Hillsdale's fire chief survived a motorcycle crash with only a busted ankle after hitting a deer and tumbling down a cliff at Harriman State Park.
