But Michael Mulgrew came home later that night seeming calm, and so Cheryl, 69, told police not to bother, and she'd take him to the doctors in the morning, the affidavit says. Man Stabbed Both Parents Dead In Blood-Stained Barnegat Home: Cops A 34-year-old New Jersey man has been charged with murder and related offenses in the stabbing deaths of his parents, authorities said. Police responding to a Lincoln Avenue home around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, noticed blood on the door of the home and a man, later identified as Michael Mulgrew, walking away, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
