'My House Is On Fire': Firefighters Alerted To House Fire: Lambertville FD Firefighters tended to a house fire in Hunterdon County on Thursday, May 9 after a quick thinking neighbor alerted them, authorities said. At 3:30 p.m., a neighbor to the house on fire at 217 Main St. ran to the front of the Lambertville firehouse yelled that a house was on fire, the Lambertville Fire Department said on Facebook. The Lambertville Fire Department was in the middle of a shift change when the fire occurred, allowing for firefighters to respond immediately, fire officials said.
