Anthony Rossi, a Republican, was elected the new mayor of the township, defeating Harry Shortway and Sally Rinker with 53.3 percent of the vote. Rossi will be replacing Howard Burrell, who served one term. A native of New York City, Rossi moved to Vernon following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, raising his three children in the township. Chase Customers Report Missing, Additional Money In Bank Accounts Some JPMorgan Chase customers who checked their accounts overnight found hundreds or even thousands of dollars missing, and in some cases, added. "We know some customers reporting seeing incorrect balances in their checking account overnight," Chase said in a statement on Sunday morning, June 28.
