Officials in Sussex County are investigating the cause of a massive fire that ripped through several vehicles in a local parking lot over the weekend. The Hardyston Township Volunteer Fire Dept. responded to the blaze in the employee parking lot at 3 Wild Turkey Way just after 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, the squad said. Upon arrival, crews found several vehicles fully engulfed in flames and immediately began extinguishing efforts. UPDATE: Route 515 has reopened to traffic, police said. ------------------------------------ A dump truck caught fire and shut down Route 515 in Sussex County Tuesday afternoon, police said. The truck caught fire in Hardyston shortly before 12:10 p.m., police departments in Hardyston and Vernon confirmed. : Fire Crews Douse Blaze At Sussex County Computer Recycling Center
Several Sussex County fire crews were quick to douse a blaze that broke out at a local computer recycling center before dawn Sunday. Hardyston and Franklin fire departments responded to the scene at 1 Park Drive just before 2:45 a.m. and observed smoke billowing from the back of the building, authorities said.
